What is a Smart Home?
A smart home is a home that has WIFI enabled electrical appliances (smart appliances) that you can control remotely using a smart mobile device such as a smartphone or tablet, or a computer.
What's the difference between a Smart Home and a Home Automation System?
A smart home generally does not control your home intuitively and automatically but a home automation system does.
What does "Home Intelligence" mean?
"Home Intelligence" is used to describe the technological advancement of home automated systems that can learn, memorise, program and execute functions automatically or be controlled and operated remotely, with the purpose of giving you more freedom and making your everyday lifestyle, easier.
What is Home Automation?
Home automation is a term used to describe the process of having your electrical appliances operated and controlled automatically, generally via an installed automation system and has the ability to learn household patterns and control appliances that are connected to it based on the information that it has learnt.
What does "Smart" mean?
In technology, SMART stands for Self-Monitoring, Analysis, and Reporting Technology, but don't let that tech lingo put you off.
Do I need an internet connection or WIFI to install smart devices or a home automation system?
Yes. Smart technology is based around internet and WIFI communication protocols so in order to communicate with your Smart device, you will need to provide the device (and yourself) access to "talk" to each other. This is why inernet and WIFI technology is required.

What is Z-Wave technology and how does it work?
Z-Wave is a wireless communications protocol (similar to WIFI) that works off of what is called a mesh network that uses low-energy radio waves to submit signals.
Will home automation help me reduce my energy usage?

Home automation gives you complete control of your household energy consumption with real-time usage monitoring and depending on the type of home automated system you have installed, you can either set your smart appliances to turn off when not being used or your intelligent system will know when to do it for you.

What security services do you offer?
The security systems we install, ensure that you have your home as safe and secure . With the use of security cameras, motion detectors, door and window sensors, internal and external sirens and an easy to control keypad protecting your family, home and contents has never been more important.
What does security installation involve?
A basic system will involve 1-4 cameras installed in the locations of your choice, whilst being recorded through an NVR which records either the whole time or you can set it to record only when motion is occurring. We also enable you to be able to monitor your house on your phone, no matter where you are.
